What is it?
Animation is the process of taking 3D models of drawings to create the illusion of sequential movement creating a smooth, seamless animated motion. Visual effects are used in both video games and in film, referring to any digital elements that are added to enhance the game or film's storyline or visual appeal, such as explosions or colors. Game design involves the use of creativity and design while developing video games, such as story creation, character development, environments, rules, and challenges.
IS IT RIGHT FOR
ME?
Are you creative and like to draw?
Are you good with technology?
Do you love to play video games and are interested in how they're created?
What will I do?
Animators and visual effects artists take 3D objects and bring them to life digitally, giving them movement using computer-generated imagery (CGI) software. Game designers are the creative force responsible for bringing a video game to life, designing character roles, storylines, and the environments where the games take place, such as the battlefield, space, or a fantasy-world.
