WORK-BASED LEARNING

Photo_Biomedical_39.jpg
Work-Based Learning opportunities are a critical component to the Career and Technical Education experience,

exposing students to Career Awareness, Career Exploration and Career Preparedness.

What is Work-Based Learning?

Inglewood USD offers work-based learning opportunities to 7-12 grade students throughout the year in partnership with regional community organizations, business and industry, and post-secondary institutions.

These experiences include field trips and tours, guest speakers, and mentorships. Students learn first-hand how to plan for post-secondary success and develop employability skills such as leadership, teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and communication.
