WORK-BASED LEARNING

Work-Based Learning opportunities are a critical component to the Career and Technical Education experience,
exposing students to Career Awareness, Career Exploration and Career Preparedness.
What is Work-Based Learning?
Inglewood USD offers work-based learning opportunities to 7-12 grade students throughout the year in partnership with regional community organizations, business and industry, and post-secondary institutions.
These experiences include field trips and tours, guest speakers, and mentorships. Students learn first-hand how to plan for post-secondary success and develop employability skills such as leadership, teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and communication.
