What is Early College?
Taking Early College Credit courses prepares students for the transition to college
by earning college credit in high school, and helps students jump ahead in their post-secondary education and save money.
IUSD partners with El Camino Community College for our Early College Program.
College level courses are part of the early college student's curriculum starting in the 9th grade. This enables IUSD students to receive dual credit and to graduate with a high school diploma, an AA or AS degree from El Camino College, and an industry-recognized CTE certification.
