With 32 years of rich, diverse, and impactful teaching experience, Mrs. Do has worked extensively with students across preschool through elementary school levels. For 25 of those years, she has served as a dedicated and committed educator within the Inglewood Unified School District, where she has consistently provided exceptional academic support and fosters student academic achievement and success.


Mrs. Do earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and later obtained a second Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development, along with a teaching credential, from California State University, Northridge. Driven by a deep commitment to student social emotional well-being, she went on to earn a Master of Arts in Counseling from California State University, Dominguez Hills. In addition to her teaching credential, she also holds a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential.


A compassionate and nurturing educator, Mrs. Do is devoted to supporting the academic and emotional growth of every student. Her student-centered and inclusive approach to teaching ensures that learning is meaningful, engaging, and applicable beyond the classroom. She believes strongly in designing classroom experiences that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving, while promoting collaboration among students and teachers alike.

To enhance her instructional practices, Mrs. Do became Project Lead The Way (PLTW) certified by completing the PLTW Launch Classroom Teacher Training—a hands-on, collaborative professional development program that emphasizes project and problem-based learning (PBL) . This training has enabled her to deliver inquiry-driven instruction that prepares students for future academic and career challenges.


Mrs. Do is a strong advocate for Career Technical Education (CTE),   encouraging students to explore their passions while developing practical,   real-world skills. Mrs. Do is also a Google Certified Educator, having   successfully passed the Level 1 certification exam. She actively pursues ongoing professional development to remain at the forefront of educational innovation. She continues to grow professionally through consistent participation in Career Technical Education (CTE) programs and specialized training opportunities. Her recent professional development includes:


AME Burbank Institute – Emerging Technologies: Training on Adobe Firefly   and generative AI tools across Adobe Creative Cloud, with a focus on   integrating cutting-edge technology into creative classroom projects

AVID Pro Tools Training: Hands-on experience in audio   recording, editing, and mixing using Avid Pro Tools, enabling her to teach   students essential skills in music production and sound design regardless of   their prior experience with music.

Adobe Photoshop – Emerging Technologies: Exploration of AI-powered   tools and new features in Adobe Photoshop, with strategies for applying them to media arts and visual storytelling in the classroom.

Soundtrap for Music Production & Sound Design: A practical workshop on creating student-generated music for podcasts, films, games, and other multimedia projects, using Soundtrap’s accessible tools for recording, mixing, and audio effects.


Mrs. Do’s commitment and motivation to ongoing professional growth ensures she remains a leader in innovative, technology-integrated instruction. By integrating technology, media arts, STEM-focused instruction, and CTE into her teaching, she empowers students with the creativity, knowledge, and innovative skills needed to thrive in both academic and career pathways.
