Richard Adkins is a world-class violinist and master strings educator whose extraordinary career bridges the concert stage and the classroom. A graduate of California State University Long Beach, Richard has performed with some of the biggest names in music and entertainment, including Lady Gaga at the Oscars, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, and Leslie Odom Jr. His talent has graced the stages of The Voice, American Idol, The BET Awards, and The American Music Awards, and his recordings span blockbuster albums and video game scores to iconic TV shows like Days of Our Lives.
As a concertmaster and member of prestigious ensembles such as the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players, The Desert Symphony, and the Huntington Beach Symphony, Richard has toured internationally across China, Egypt, Jordan, Dubai, and Coachella, where he performed with Brockhampton.
Equally passionate about music education, Richard has taught in public and private schools across Southern California for over two decades. He currently serves as a full-time music teacher in Inglewood Unified School District, inspiring the next generation of string musicians with the same excellence and artistry that define his career.
